Cowboy/Pen Rider/Hired Man/General Agriculture
Small family feedlot and farm operation outside of Alliance seeks long term employee to help with doctoring, processing, shipping and receiving of the cattle being looked after by the operation. Candidate should have experience with handling and checking cattle, own and possess the know-how to care for their own horses and be able to perform at least basic pen repair (fixing fence, repairing windbreaks, etc.)
Ability to use heavy duty equipment, perform basic industrial skills (mechanic, wielding, etc) are a plus but not necessary if you’re willing to learn. We have a lot that needs done around here and we need people who are ready to lend a hand! Additionally, applicants should have a flexible enough work style to be able to manage themselves to work alone or as part of a team. All in any type of weather (short of a blizzard!). Housing available. Work week is usually 50-60 hours. Wage based on experience but will range from $14-$18.
