Job Summary

The Residency Program Manager works independently but collaboratively with the Residency Program Director, Associate Program Directors, Academic Program Director, Curriculum Committee members and residents to support the day-to-day operations of the residency program. This position manages the residency staff team, budget, accreditation, residency HR, fellowship, and training agreements. The position will also help to oversee residency recruitment, graduation, retreats, orientation, didactics and residency scheduling.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a liaison between the FM residency and GME.
  2. Oversee all aspects of residency accreditation including Freida, ABFM, ACGME, AAFP and necessary data entry .
  3. Residency HR for both the staff team and the residents including disciplinary actions, letters, contracts, licensing, and verifications.
  4. Maintain updates for residency policy and procedures.
  5. Assist the Program Director with the management of the residency budget.
  6. Manage monthly schedules, clinical competencies and evaluations in MedHub.
  7. Maintain residency dashboards, files and data reports.
  8. Assist residency leadership and chiefs with the resident yearly block schedules.
  9. Manage the annual program review process.
  10. Plan and implement chiefs meeting, equity, diversity, and inclusion meeting, and residency requirements meeting.
  11. Provide oversight and back-up for the following:
    o Residency and fellowship recruitment
    o Orientation and onboarding of new residents
    o Graduation
    o Retreats and leadership workshops
    o Curriculum Committee
    o Resident scheduling
    o Residency didactics
    o Residency fair

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
