The Housing Operations Coordinator will coordinate the housing contracts for University Village and Maverick Village, housing assignments for all properties, assist with marketing/recruitment efforts, administrative work, off-campus housing referral service, and website updates. This position coordinates coverage of the Housing & Residence Life phone lines and email, communicates with prospective students/parents, and assists in supporting the mission of the department. In addition, this individual is crucial to managing end of semester transition periods with facilities and assisting the director with camps and conferences.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5 - some nights and weekends
Additional Duties:
- Organize and process housing applications; maintain occupancy reports; assign students to villages for placement; maintain housing waitlist. Update, send, and receive all student housing contracts for University and Maverick Villages; assist with roommate placements and sending out roommate letters to new housing students
- Collaborate with University Communications, Scott Residential Management, and Student Affairs Graphic Designers on marketing and recruitment efforts. Update marketing and promotional materials as well as giveaways and swag
- Administrative duties to include answering the Housing and Residence Life main phone line and responding to the Housing and Residence Life email address
- Lead Housing Showcase events and represent Housing at various recruitment and enrollment events. Facilitate summer conference/camp/intern requests, housing space reservations, and the summer contracting process
- Coordinate with StarCare and UNO technical support on StarRez Portal troubleshooting and maintenance; run StarRez database reports as needed. Update StarRez Portal and Housing Contracts. Send out departmental correspondence through StarRez
- Plan and implement returner renewal process as well as international student arrival. Collaborate with other UNO offices (Athletics, International Programs, etc.) to reserve space for various student groups
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Student Affairs Administration, Business, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience: Residence hall experience to include experience working with students and parents. Familiarity with StarRez.

Salary: $21.63/hr - $22.59/hour
