Instructor of Instructional Leadership
The University of Montevallo seeks applicants for two part-time, non tenure-track, 9-month faculty positions as Instructor of Instructional Leadership. The successful candidates will teach graduate courses in IL; supervise residency experiences; advise IL students; participate in curriculum and program development; serve on committees at the university, college, and department levels; participate in professional organizations; and engage in service activities in P12 settings.
Duties
1. Teaching graduate classes
2. Supervising field experiences for IL majors
3. Advising IL majors
4. Participating in curriculum and program development efforts, as well as program recruitment initiatives
5. Serving on committees at the university, college, and department levels
6. Participating in professional organizations
7. Engaging in service activities in P-12 educational settings
Experience and Education
An earned doctorate in Instructional Leadership, Educational Administration or other closely-related discipline from an accredited institution.
At least three years of formal administrative experience at the P12 school or district level.
