Job Description
School of Medicine - Dean's Office - Business & Finance
- Perform various detailed financial, planning, and analysis projects related to different revenue and expense information. Analysis would occur either for a specific department, or for the entire School of Medicine.
- Develop a working relationship with internal School of Medicine department personnel.
- Assist School of Medicine departments in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, the monthly close process; ad hoc reporting requests; and the annual budget process.
- Assist Dean's Office Finance leadership on overall School of Medicine budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist School of Medicine departments with the review and reconciliation of financial accounts.
- Exchanges ideas and information, asks questions, and ensures parties/audiences understand the message.
- Perform a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and makes recommendations for improvement/efficiency, as necessary.
- Train School of Medicine departmental staff on various finance and accounting tasks included, but not limited to, generally accepted accounting principles; journal entries; cash received reports; and accounts receivable and billing (ARBI).
Salary
Salary Range:$48,900-$88,730 yearly
Grade: GGS-010

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
