CompTIA Server+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications required within 3 months of hire; Splunk Core Certified Power User certification required within 6 months of hire.

This position will require regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing repetitive motion (such as typing).
Shift
Both day and night shift positions are available. This position rotates and will work alternating weekends as part of the rotation.
Job Summary
The SOC Analyst II positions will provide 247 application, security, data center, and change monitoring. The analyst is expected to proactively identify potential issues and collaborate with IT teams to improve monitoring and automate resolutions. This position is required to be on-site during working shift time.
Internal Employee Being Considered (IEBC)
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate should have procedural and technical experience in ITSM and SDLC. This is a technical position, requiring both deep and broad technical knowledge across a range of IT disciplines.
