Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Purpose: Responsible for client billing, data entry, and accounts receivable for Trans Ova Genetics and affiliated companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and import procedures into the accounting system and reconcile to production reports, forms, emails, and other communications on billable procedures to ensure timely and accurate client billings.

• Review production information and data entry while providing feedback and training to field operations and professional service teams when necessary.
• Prepare invoices; oversee the printing, mailing and emailing of client statements.
• Research and respond to client questions on account balances and invoiced items.
• Assist with deposits and cash application.  Assist with client reconciliations and collections when necessary. 
• Ensure all SOX controls are followed and required documentation is maintained.
• Assist with related special projects and process improvement initiatives, as required. 
• Follow Trans Ova’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional image reflective of Trans Ova’s industry position.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Education Requirements: 

2 or 4 year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Primarily an indoor office environment.

Other skills/experience:

Microsoft Suite skills required (includes Excel, Word and Outlook)

Strong 10-key

High degree of accuracy and attention to details

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must work well with others through effective communication.
