$2.3M 5-Year Federal School Climate Transformation Grant
Responsibilities include the oversight and facilitation of: trauma-informed and restorative practices; the districtwide Diversity Team; enhancing safe and supportive school cultures; alternative social, emotional and behavioral models; collaboration with outside agencies; student and family interventions; drug and alcohol counseling services; effective disciplinary consequences and responses; data management for grant accountability.
Requirements include current certification as a school counselor, teacher or administrator; experience working with youth, in facilitating group processes, and in supervising or coordinating teams of adults. The position can be 10 or 12 months, and compensation will be based upon current earnings and salary requirements. Continued employment beyond the 5-year grant will be determined by the individual's specific qualifications and interests. Starting date is flexible and can range from immediately to June 2020.
