Salisbury University, a member of the University System of Maryland, is a regionally accredited four-year comprehensive institution offering 62 distinct graduate and undergraduate programs. Located on the historic Eastern Shore, SU's beautiful campus is some 30 miles from the Atlantic beaches and 2.5 hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.  

This position is fully remote.

Job Summary

Plan, design, implement, and support ERP and server systems and software, including PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Microsoft SQL Server, Business Intelligence, all 2-tier & 3-tier applications with a SQL database back-end, Microsoft server operating systems, application support, and network load balancers. Monitor, analyze and develop technology measures to ensure reliable application performance and availability. Lead project teams in the engineering, implementation, and coordination of a wide variety of server based technologies and IT infrastructure activities and projects.  Maximize system and application availability that supports academic and administrative and student requirements.

Authority and Accountability

Reports directly to the Director of Information Technology.  This position has no supervisory duties.This position has no budgetary responsibility or authority.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience installing, upgrading, and patching complex ERP environments and SQL Server database administration.  Experience with server operating systems, virtualization, peoplesoft and other enterprise applications is desirable. General server, database, troubleshooting techniques and industry best practices.
