POSITION SUMMARY
Assists the Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit in analyzing and defining requirements to develop customized solutions across multiple systems to support degree audit functions. Collaborate with faculty and staff from academic and administrative units across the university, including other areas within the registrar's office, to ensure requirements align with university policies and procedures and are accurately reflected within the DARS system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes requirement details and creates complex proprietary code within the degree audit reporting system (DARS) to assure accurate representation and tracking of progress toward completion of program requirements. Utilizes database tools to query student and DARS data to evaluate impact of curriculum revisions and to apply database revisions through customized structured query language (SQL) queries. Troubleshoots and tests program code utilized by the DARS software.
Reviews and assesses curriculum proposals from the University Curriculum Committee's (UCC) and related sub-committees from a policy or implementation perspective to proactively plan for system updates. Collaborates with assistant deans, associate deans, curriculum chairs, and staff from other units within the office to implement new programs or revise existing programs within the degree audit system. Utilizes OneNote software to help track completion of tasks and maintain documentation to substantiate modifications.
Communicate with campus community regarding degree audit changes and managing DARS email account. Train and support assistant deans and college staff regarding processing of exceptions for degree requirements. Analyze course duplication rules and update code within degree audit to limit duplication of credit. Review quality assurance reports and make necessary updates. Executes comprehensive test plans. Develops and maintains documentation used for reference and training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree conferred by start date.
At least three years of related work experience.
Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
To be successful in this position, the employee should possess or acquire skills sufficient to accomplish the following: program academic requirements logically using complex proprietary rules-based software; comprehend the relationships of uAchieve support tables and the custom PeopleSoft interface; understand the uAchieve engine workflow; and utilize database queries.
Must have analytical and quantitative skills – must be able to think logically and solve complex problems.
Must have excellent communication skills – both written and oral, ability to interact effectively with groups, listening skills.
Must have time management skills – must be able to prioritize tasks, set deadlines, meet deadlines.
Must have outstanding customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft preferred, or experience with another Student Information System.
Experience with the following: CollegeSource; uAchieve; experience working at a comprehensive four-year public research university.

Target hiring range for this role is $44,592 to $51,838. The exact base salary for the selected candidate will be negotiable, commensurate with education and experience, and competitive in the field within the context of similarly situated positions at public universities nationally.
This position may have the option for hybrid or remote work options. Flexplace agreements will be determined upon hire.
