Conduct resident rounds as assigned. Participate in the development of an individualized plan of care of assigned residents. Document in the nursing assistant notes the care and treatment provided to the resident. Maintain confidentiality.
Assure residents have call lights at hand and answer call lights promptly. Assure residents are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment and transportation to meal service areas. Assist residents with activities of daily living as documented in the resident's care plan. Work as a team player, demonstrate dependability, and present an appropriate professional appearance.
Medical Aide
Successfully complete the 40-Hour Medication Aide Course approved by the State of Nebraska. Obtain report from nurse being relieved and follow through with recorded medication changes. Administer medications to residents in an accurate, timely manner. Document medication administration, related monitoring, effectiveness and any occurrence of adverse effects. Complete all documentation related to the resident's medication administration within scope of practice.
