Director of Pupil Personnel Services

The Naples Central School District is seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to fill the role of the Director of Pupil Personnel Services (PPS). This position is a 12-month administrative position and the selected candidate will serve as a member of the NCS administrative team.


Qualifications:

- SBL/SDL administrative certification required. Experience as a Special Education teacher and or CSE Chairperson experience is preferred.

- A collaborative leader with a student-centered approach.

- Strong knowledge and experience in the area of special education & 504 law.

- A willingness to be visible, accessible, and approachable. Connected to classrooms.

- Strong skill sets in behavior management & creating respectful learning environments.

- A strong communicator with the ability to forge connections/relationships with various stakeholders.

- An ability to assess, support, and adapt as needed district systems, processes, and programming in order to best meet the needs of students and staff. Seeks to understand through asking excellent questions.
