Operations Assistant Manager
Position supervises the day-to-day container operations in the facility. Responsible for managing the safe and efficient flow of containers through the facility. Must be able to execute a multi-faceted plan of operations involving vessel, yard, gate and warehouse operations and be able to make changes when necessary. Work closely with union labor. The role will move between vessel and yard operations based on need of the day/night operations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on the job experience in the maritime business. Strong people skills. Experience working with unions preferred. Experience with computer systems MS Office/TOS. Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
