Street Superintendent
The City of Chadron is actively seeking a qualified individual to lead our Street Department. The ideal candidate has knowledge and understanding of planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of city streets, parking lots, alleys and related public works areas. The ability to convey knowledge to others through good written and oral communication, with a high degree of organizational skill is needed. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and self-directed; a great addition to our team.
Qualifications
Qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus three to five years related experience; Nebraska Driver's license with Class B CDL endorsement.
Special Requirements
Must possess a Nebraska Street Superintendent's license, or have the ability to attain within two years. Position requires pre-employment drug test, pre-employment physical and background check if an offer of employment is made.
