Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide lab and simulation instruction to freshman or sophomore level students in the Associate Degree Nursing Program, Day Option, on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
2. Master's degree in Nursing or:
a) Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program and matriculated into a master's program with expected completion in 5 years (proof of matriculation must be submitted with application); or,
b) Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program and possession of a related non-nursing graduate degree; or,
c) Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) status obtained through a certifying organization; or,
d) Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program and will obtain a CNE within 3 years.
3. Experience in a Nursing Lab with low and high-fidelity simulation.
4. Ability to create an environment conducive to learning.
5. Ability to adapt to new technology.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Nursing experience in a Nursing Instructional Lab.
Equivalency Statement
Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as noted above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience has prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required for the responsibilities of this position.
Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: $56.50 per hour, up to 18 hours per week. Part-time, Non-benefited MCCC Unit position.
