The Management, HR and Information Systems Area of the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly seeks applicants for two tenure track, academic year positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the primary area of Information Systems (IS). Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated track record or evidence of potential in both teaching and research.

Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; anticipated starting salary range is $122,904 - $135,804.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must have completed or be close to the completion of a doctorate or equivalent degree in Information Systems or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution. The PhD/DBA should be awarded by the time of appointment in Fall 2024. Applicants are expected to demonstrate exemplary teaching, a strong publication record and research pipeline, and currency in their professional field. Applicants must have the ability to work with diverse students and/or engage diversity in the curriculum.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
