Position Summary

Performs various Paint Shop duties under the direction of a Superintendent or higher-level supervisor, including cleaning and painting interiors and exteriors of buildings and other surfaces.

 

 

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Paints interiors and exteriors of University buildings and other surfaces.
  • Paints and/or makes repairs to flooring.
  • Cleans and removes graffiti from buildings and sidewalks.
  • Refinishes furniture.
  • Maintains Paint Shop and equipment as directed.

  • Ability to operate hand and/or power tools appropriate to the trade
  • Ability to operate hand and/or power grounds keeping equipment

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

The following Experience is required:

Three to six months related experience required

The following Education is required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the University’s insurance
