The Programmatic Partnerships Lead will be directly responsible for building and growing programmatic revenue through private marketplace and programmatic guaranteed (PG) partnerships with advertisers, agencies, and DSPs for Advance Local. This is a hands-on role focused on uncovering new demand sources and helping buyers find and buy against our audiences and inventory with minimal friction.
While we have various office locations throughout the US, the candidate can work remotely.
What you'll be doing:
- Identifying display, video, native, and audio opportunities with regional and national programmatic buyers across various client types (brands, agencies, DSPs, trading desks) to drive incremental revenue through PMPs and PG deals
- Evangelizing Advance Local’s inventory, core audience, and value of our 1st party data to the programmatic buying community
- Setting meetings with appropriate decision makers
- Growing relationships, and facilitating reserved and non-reserved deals to accelerate programmatic O&O revenue for Advance Local
- Serving as a consultant to programmatic buyers relative to supply path optimization of Advance Local inventory and using open exchange data and other bid level insights to help buyers achieve their campaign KPIs on our inventory more effectively
- Analyzing PMP and PG deal performance and making recommendations for campaign optimizations, relative to KPI benchmarks
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field
- Minimum five years' relevant experience, with proven track record in programmatic sales
- Experience building a book of business at a publisher, agency, or demand partner carrying a monthly or quarterly revenue budget
- Knowledge of programmatic buying strategies and emerging identity solutions
- Familiarity with ad platforms like Google Ad Manager, PubMatic, Magnite, MOAT, DoubleVerify, and DV360
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Effective and proven prospecting skills to identify new clients and incremental revenue sources
- Experience onboarding new agency and advertiser partners
- Ability to build strong relationships with a focus on follow up and personal accountability
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines
